Generally residence can be described as a physical place that satisfies the housing needs which is one of the individual`s requirements. However, individuals do not have only the physical needs. In the theory of Maslow`s Hierarchy of Needs, housing can be described as a comprehensive place which satisfies individual`s not only physical needs but also the needs that form at the each layer of the pyramid. In this study, a model developed to examine the various periods and stages of the residence sales with a biological simulation in the time scale and the problem is defined as the product life cycle. At this point of view, the core, substantial and extended product description of the residence concept is defined and residence sales in Turkey are assessed with the product life cycle.
